2006 Seed for Sale - £2.00 per packet

HARVESTED IN 2005 IN ARDUAINE GARDEN

We try to produce a good, clean, viable product for sale to visitors. We hope that you will understand that this is not a commercial operation, but a 'kitchen table industry' which is intended to enhance your visit, at the same time raising some extra funds for the Trust. As it is impossible to emulate the mechanical methods of commercial companies, some seeds may contain a little chaff, though all seed is as fresh as we can keep it and has been stored in a refrigerator prior to bringing to the sale point. Please note that the packets don't give advice on germination and growing - there are plenty of books on the subject. We find that seed will generally germinate well if sown in seed compost and placed in a cold frame, which is what we do, but don't expect species to germinate as quickly as F1 bedding plants. Unfortunately we can send seed only to the EU.
